HamSCI at Hamvention 2019

Overview

HamSCI will be present at the 2022 Dayton Hamvention in order to further its goal of connecting the ham radio and scientific communities. Support for the 2022 HamSCI Hamvention activities comes from The University of Scranton, the Yasme Foundation, TAPR, the National Science Foundation, NASA, and volunteers like you. This year, HamSCI will again host a booth in building 5 next TAPR, host booth talks in the Ham Radio 2.0 area, run demos, and the host HamSCI Forum. To help out, please sign up to volunteer at the booth or offer to give a booth talk.

Booth Volunteering

The 2022 HamSCI booth will be located at booth 5008 (next to TAPR). Please use sign up to volunteer at the booth using NeedToMeet. As a volunteer, we ask that you stand at the HamSCI booth and talk to booth visitors about HamSCI and your specific research interests. Feel free to bring demonstration items and materials and to talk about what you know best. The goal of HamSCI is to connect ham radio with scientific research. So, any topic that supports this goal is a good topic to talk about. The booth uniform are HamSCI labcoats, which can be purchased below.
